On the 27th of April 2021 3 days before the second game of the EuroCup finales going to take place the Ukrainian official Mikola Abrosov got a call from two other referees saying that he will receive 10,000 euros if UNUICS will win over Monaco, but he just did everything as usual and Monaco have ended up wining.

Monaco, the champions after all.
allegedly one the referees that was involved was not other than Boris Rizik who was the referee in the controversial game 2 between Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Monaco.
In that game Rizik handed out not less than 6 technical fouls to Maccabi, and AS Monaco won the game by 12 points 86-74 and tied the series to 1 all.
